OMC Ministries

Parish Ministry is one of Sister Margaret Chamber's loves.  She brings Christ's mercy wherever she works.   Since joining the OMC she has worked in three parishes.  After completing her work in a Roman Catholic parish in Alabama with the Glenmary Missions, she is now working with the Franciscans in St. Francis Parish in Sacramento, CA.   For more about her and her work, you can visit Sister Margaret's ministry page: Sister Margart Chambers, OMC.  Sister Margaret can be reached at: srpeggy@gmail.com

Working with poor women in her neighborhood brings a very real joy to Sister Patricia McClellan+.   From Monday to Friday, Sister Patti works as a Legal Assistant in a San Francisco Law Firm.  After hours, she gives her time to working with the poor and spiritual direction.   During her hours off from work, she is completing a degree in religious studies. You can visit her ministry page at:  Sister Patricia McClellan.     Sister Patti can be contacted at: SisterPatti@orderofthemercifulchrist.org

Sister Sheila McCaleb is an artist.  After raising her children, she has finally returned to studying and making art.  In this short time she has illustrated two children's books, and is currently working on a mixed media image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, using itaglio etching, linocut print, and collage combined.  Visit her ministry page:  Sister Sheila McCaleb.        Sister Sheila can be contacted at SisterSheila@orderofthemercifulchrist.org

Mother Cait Finnegan+ works as a chaplain for abused women, and also runs an online ecumenical religious book and gift shop with her husband.  Mother Cait writes religious music and songs and is working with Sister Sheila on illustrating another children's book.  You can visit her ministry page at:  Mother Cait Finnegan.  Mother Cait can be contacted at: MCait@orderofthemercifulchrist.org

"St. Ciaran's Critter Connection" Inspired by the Celtic Christian spirituality of love and respect for all of God's creation, St. Ciaran's Critter Connection began 10 years ago as an online network for animal welfare sites.  Mercy toward all creatures is in our vow.  In cooperation with The Rose of Sharon Religious Books and Articles, an online ecumenical religious gift and bookstore, to collect whatever we can to help others help animals. The mission of "St. Ciaran's Critter Connection" is to support the welfare of animals.  We do this in small and various ways including fostering the spirituality of animal care.  We are happy to work with local rescue efforts.  You can tune into our live online radio show at: Listen to The Rose of Sharon on internet talk radio  For information e-mail:  MCait@orderofthemercifulchrist.org
